  1. Check this to see through the object to any objects behind it; uncheck it to make the object opaque (depending on the Ink Mode property).
  2. Note: for text objects, the text will always be black whether the text object is transparent or not.
  3. Also note: editable text objects should not be made transparent as it can look very unattractive while they are being edited.
